But here I am, eight years and hundreds of weddings later and I couldn't dream of doing anything else.
I’ve learned a lot in my years as a planner. Most notably, there’s a huge disconnect in the wedding world between wedding planners and wedding florists.
Some planners are engaged when it comes to booking a florist for their clients, but without the knowledge of the floral industry from the inside, it is nearly impossible to give thoughtful AND factual feedback to guide a wedding couple through the floral design process.
On the flip side, it is very rare that a florist is involved in the design process when it comes to linen selection, lighting, draping, soft seating, etc - all of which is a huge part of the overall aesthetic of the day... and many times has great influence on the placement of florals throughout the space.
Hence - the need for a designer. Someone who isn’t juggling the back and forth of all of your day-of vendors, but instead handles every facet of how the day will look… and all of the logistics that surround it.
That’s where we come in.
