Run don’t walk to book Shelby. I cant put into words how amazing she was throughout the entire wedding planning process. We had about a year and a half engagement and over that time Shelby was always so responsive (even when I would text after hours or on weekends with one-off questions) making the process so much fun and stress-free. Shelby also helped with the design portion of our wedding and I was absolutely blown away by how she brought my vision together. It was the most stunning day! When initially looking for a planner, I wanted someone reliable, easy-going, and really just fun to work with and Shelby is all of those things and more. So much so, I gained not only a bomb wedding planner, but also a friend. I would recommend Shelby to anyone and everyone for planning, florals, and as someone experienced and amazing to work with! Her talent and work ethic is unmatched and we are so so grateful to Shelby and her team for making our day the most beautiful!

Where to begin? We had the absolute best experience working with Shelby and her team. She made the potentially daunting and scary task of planning a wedding actually fun and worry-free. We trusted her not only with planning, but with design and florals as well. Shelby is the very best of the best. Her ability to take the jumbled ideas we had and turn them into what truly was the most gorgeous wedding I’ve ever seen was incredible. She made every step of the process fun and easy, while keeping a sense of humor with it all that made the stress of wedding planner truly non-existent. The personal touches she thought of to truly make our wedding unique to us as a couple was what dreams are made of. She handled every aspect so flawlessly that I didn’t even know there were issues until after they’d been handled. She was exactly the person I never knew I needed to walk me through the last two years, and I will never be able to thank her enough for the memories she made for my entire family. I cannot recommend her and her team enough for your wedding, they are simply the best!!!

If you want to make your wedding dreams a reality, I highly recommend Shelby and White Cat Weddings & Events. I came across Shelby and WCW by happenstance as they were recommended by the venue my now-husband and I wanted for our wedding. Their list of recommendations was short and their standards were high. I recognized a few couples on the White Cat Weddings website, had even attended one of the weddings, and instantly knew we would be in good hands. That being said, even my high expectations were beyond exceeded. (We didn’t actually choose the original venue but were thankful they led us to WCW.) Shelby not only made our vision a reality, she exponentially improved it. She was able to create a cohesive design across multiple venues. And not only were the florals (OMG I cannot even tell you how many compliments we are STILL getting on the florals WCW did) and design cohesive, but the flow of the entire wedding day was. Throughout the planning process, any time I came to Shelby with a problem, she had already solved it or had a solution. She kept me on task, let us be as involved (or uninvolved) as we wanted, and somehow made the stressful task of planning a wedding incredibly fun. She gave us honest opinions and brought to the table an experienced professional knowledge of how to make our day amazing as well as a rolodex (figurative) of other consummate professionals within the industry. The team of vendors she helped curate were incredible, kind, talented people that we were honored to have as part of our celebration. Beyond all of this, myself, my husband, our friends and family did nothing but celebrate our love and marriage our entire wedding day because Shelby and the WCW team had literally everything else handled. We have gotten countless compliments from the attendees about every aspect of the day. Sometimes it’s hard to believe that was actually OUR wedding. I really cannot recommend Shelby and her team enough and can never thank them enough for making our wedding day so incredibly perfect.

Shelby is wonderful to work with, she was always available for my questions and prompt with answers. Throughout the entire planning process, Shelby was attentive, organized and creative. On our wedding day, I had absolutely nothing to stress about and could just enjoy the day because Shelby had taken care of every little detail. Even with an unexpected power outage at the reception, Shelby was quick to communicate with us and resolve the issue. Shelby also did my florals which turned out beautifully. I would highly recommend her for wedding planning and florals!

Shelby listened quietly while we dumped a jumble of likes, vague ideas, and endless wedding questions into her lap. She built a foundation out of the slim pickings we brought to her. Through every turn, deadline and redo, she worked her craft with compassion and calm. Her creativity, willingness to please and professionalism weaved our details together until our day came and the magic happened, complete with confetti! She worked tirelessly and smiled the whole time. Her completed vision was exactly what we hoped our day would be. Her flowers were just stunning! The one stop shopping for planning and flowers was amazing! Could not recommend White Cat any higher!

White Cat Weddings was the perfect choice to help make all of my wedding dreams come true. Shelby led me every step of the way when it came to planning, and she handled allllll the leg work. I truly could never have done anything close to what Shelby planned for us. It was a fairytale type of day and every single detail was personal and perfect. Shelby was there for us from day one. Shelby was wonderful to work with as both a wedding planner/designer and florist. She was very flexible and accommodating with her time, meeting us several times to go over design and plans, as well as managing a way to move us from her 2020 schedule to her 2021 schedule due to Covid. Shelby has a true knack for creating beautiful event spaces, as well as creating amazing floral arrangements. I was confident that she would be able to bring my wedding vision to a reality. She designed a beautiful wedding ceremony space, as well as reception, and I received so many compliments from my guests on how beautiful the evening was, and I know Shelby played a vital role in that. In addition to design, Shelby is extremely talented at creating beautiful flower arrangements. After going over what I had in mind for my bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, centerpieces, etc., Shelby sent me a PDF that included a visual representation of what the arrangements would look like. On my wedding day I was surprised to discover that they were prettier than I ever imagined. My bridal bouquet had cascading greenery that was truly a show stopper and it looked amazing in all of my wedding photos. Shelby is truly an asset worth investing in if you need someone who can offer design advice/suggestions, vendor suggestions, floral suggestions, and guidance along the wedding planning journey. She is easy to communicate with and makes the wedding planning process less stressful as a bride.
